Poker is a card game that requires a combination of skill, strategy and luck to master. Players can bet in different ways, and winning a hand is determined by the ranking of the cards in the final showdown. In poker, each player is dealt two cards face down. During a round of betting, players may check, meaning they will not place any chips into the pot; Call – placing the same amount as the previous player; or Raise – increasing the bet.
